Two-Ingredient Healthy Recipes

Returning from work everyday, I either order in or cook some instant noodles. Ordering in or the instant noodles are compromising with my health. But after a hard day’s work, I don’t really have the capacity to cook up a meal, let alone a healthy meal. Such is life… I can’t get an instant healthy meal. Whatever is instant isn’t healthy and whatever is healthy requires long hours of labour or does it?

Here are some 2-Ingredient healthy snacks that can be prepared easily and in no time.

Chia pudding

Chia seeds + Almond Milk

Let the mix rest for 10 minutes.

Run the mix in a mixer to create a vanilla pudding-like texture.

Add fruits of your choice—mango, coconut, strawberries, blueberries…

 

Salt baked potatoes

Salt + Potatoes

Sprinkle a dash of salt on your potato and put it in the oven.

Cut open to enjoy best

 

Mozzarella Tomato Skewers

Mozzarella balls / Bocconcini + Cherry Tomatoes

Thread the tomatoes and cheese into a skewer.

Add basil if you like.

 

Banana Pancakes

Bananas (not-so-ripe) + Egg Whites

Whisk banana lumps with egg whites till frothy.

Cook on non-stick with medium-heat.

Add maple syrup to taste.

 

Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream

Bananas (ripe) + peanut butter

Blend frozen banana slices and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.

If you prefer harder ice cream, freeze for an hour and then serve.

Top it with banana slices for better taste.
